Early Years Health Advice Service

Welcome to The Early Years Health Advice Service (EYHAS), a forward-thinking team proudly serving Swindon and Shrivenham, we’re dedicated to enhancing early childhood health through a 12-month pilot project in collaboration with local GP surgeries and the Public Health Nursing Team.

From the tender age of 4 months, our committed team provide invaluable support to new mothers and caregivers on the journey of parenthood. Our service revolves around promoting a holistic well-being experience, including Healthy Diet and Lifestyle, Managing Minor Illness, Weaning, and smoking cessation support. Additionally, we are committed to improving oral health care for the youngest members of our community.

Our approach is diverse, covering engagement at baby and toddler groups, active participation in Health Visitor Clinics, and the delivery of specialized sessions designed to empower and educate. In the face of the prevailing cost-of-living crisis, we extend our support beyond advice, connecting individuals with essential additional resources.

The Early Years Health Advice Service is dedicated to ensuring that every beginning receives a foundation of health and happiness.
