Are you are facing cancer and treatment alone?

You may want to access the cancer buddy service at GWH where you can be paired up with a volunteer that supports you along your treatment pathway. They can offer 1:1 support via the telephone or in-person at GWH. They are present on the Day Therapy Unit where you may receive your treatment, therefore provide companionship and support whilst you receive treatment. The team do their best to pair you with one of the volunteers (who also have had a cancer experience) and training. They try to pair people with similar experiences and therefore there may be a wait until you can be paired with someone. You can request to become a cancer buddy or request to be paired with one of our buddies using the contact details below.
